Synopsis
Amir has to shine shoes every day at TIM (Ismail Marzuki Complex) so that he can buy textbooks. Nurmala has been forced twice to leave class because her parents were unable to buy books. Fira has been threatened and expelled by her teachers for not buying books. Would things be the same if every few months the schools didn't change the books they use for class because of a technical problems? These books also aren't sold on the open market, but by a cooperative run by the school.
