WHAT IS STATE (T)ERROR
Since its first edition in 2005, it is one of the main out competition sections of Milano Film Festival. It shows documentaries, often as Italian premieres, which reveal the connections and interests governing the system of power throughout the world, dealing with different themes. Each film is introduced by its director and there are going to be meetings with international politics experts.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
For the new edition we are looking for documentaries revealing the complex reality of the system of power throughout the world, and the even more complex relationships caused by the economical and political interests of corporations, governments, business and media.
We are looking for films showing the strategies aimed at the manipulation of people, denouncing injustices and wars, neo-colonialism and privatization, consumerism as addiction, the tragedy of refugees, the militarization of cities, nuclear power and war industry, the lie beneath peace missions and the war on terror, the tragedy of work deaths, the complicity between media and power, the exploitation of natural resources and environment.

HOW TO SUBMIT A FILM
The section is open to works of any length, language and format. The section is not competitive.
To join the section please read carefully the submission rules and fill in the submission form on our website www.milanofilmfestival.it then send a copy of the film in DVD format to:
