The first feminist film festival; by women directors, organize by women comitee, and stories about women.
In-Docs have a chance to play the two films from Kickstart workshop. The films that will be screened are,
Beauty is Pain
Yuli Andari & Anton Susilo | 2005 | Documentary | 15 min
A story about women who usesusuk (small pieces of gold or diamonds inserted in the face or body as magical charms) to look beautiful and succeed. Recently,susuk has been applied not only as gold or diamonds but in capsuleform as well.
Uang Naik

Marriage is not as simple as giving and receiving love. Rio, a Makasar youngster, failed to get marry with his lover because he can not allocate some amount of money as "uang naik" (dowry) as his lover's family wish.
