Synopsis
Disasters often cause great distress and leave a deep, prolonged sadness to the victims, but not to Baba Akong and wife. The tsunami, which struck Flores, NTT in 1992, was a starting point for their environmental movement: planting mangroves along the coast of Ndete beach. They have been doing it for 16 years, covering an area 23 hectares wide. Today, the movement includes 41 environmental groups which total 2000 members.

Synopsis
The economy of Bangka Belitung has been heavily dependent on the islands' lead mines, but the recent policy that grants access to individual ownership is taking its toll on Bangka environment. Haji Yono, a miner turned environmentalist, shows his concern by planting Sengon (Paraserianthes Falcataria) trees on deserted mines. How does he struggle to develop the plantation at Sadai village? How does he persuade his fellow villagers to follow in his path? Or even Cik Ali, his brother in law who won't leave the mines at all costs?
